Fitness level required for the 2 hour round trip walk (elevation approx
500 metres).
Depart from Hanoi by road to Perfume Pagoda. Enjoy a lovely boat trip on
the Yen stream vanishing into rice fields and hills to get to the
mountain and then take a 2-3 hours pilgrimage to a famous Buddhist
pagoda in one of most beautiful caves in Vietnam. Lunch en route at a
simple local restaurant. Return to Hanoi by road.

Pick up at your hotel
in Hanoi. Drive to Bat Trang pottery village. Watch the artisans
forming, painting and glazing their products, which are then baked for
several days in huge kilns. At noon arrive in Halong city, where you
will board the wooden junk. While cruising through the bay, seafood
lunch is served on board. Visit Thien Cung & Dau Go caves; circle Tuan
Chau,Ga Choi, Dinh Huong, Dog and Sail islands. Stop at Titop Beach.
Dinner and overnight on board of the junk. |

Day 2 HA LONG- HA NOI (B/L/-) |

After a buffet breakfast continue cruising to Man's head and Tortoise
islands, Luan cave, Bai Tu Long Bay, Toad Island and Bai Tho mountain
and visit bustling Halong Market then try your skill of bargaining.
Disembark at Halong pier around 10.30 hours. After lunch at local
restaurant transfer back and drop off at your hotel.
